Worlds Fair Lamp - L184

Image Slideshow

This is a beautiful 1933 "Century of Progress" Chicago World's Fair lamp. These lamps are very difficult to find these days, especially with the original finish. Comes with difficult to find small crackle shade! Not sure it's the original shade, but looks nice and is period correct. Does have a few factory imperfections (as pictured). These very small holes are from poor casting, but they are quite small and extremely common with these lamps. It's hard to find one without them. They're not very noticeable because of size and location, visible in photo 4. Otherwise the lamp is in very good condition, no other cracks or isible damage, just normal wear. The green crackle shade is also in very good condition with nice crackling. As usual there's only the expected rim fitter roughness. The lamp is a model of the original Travel and Transportation building. The detail is beautifully done, and the overall effect is just stunning!
