| I hate to sell this lamp. She's just beautiful! The marble base is in very good condition, showing only appropriate wear. It has only a few minor dings, which is to be expected after 70 some years of use. The pixie figure is also in wonderful condition, with original finish and original ivorine (celluloid) face. The cream colored finish is presentable, with normal wear and a lovely patina. The glass bubble paperweight is also without flaws, and one of the nicest ones I've seen. I knew this lamp would be beautiful at night when lit, but what surprised me was that it's almost as beautiful in natural light. The glass picks up and reflects the sunlight for a stunning effect. All together it makes a striking piece. Hard to find in original condition. She needs nothing, just plug her in and enjoy! |
