| We never seem to be able to hold on to these very long, because they're just so sharp! If you want something different and super cool, no one will ever be disappointed with one of these. There are a lot of reproductions, but only the originals have the patent number embossed in the glass plane body (on bottom). White glass body is in very good condition. Grey trim paint shows a little wear, and there are a few little marks from contact with the base, etc., but these are minor, and no more than you would expect of a piece this old. Glass has no chips, cracks, or breaks. Chrome base shows very little wear, and no dents or breaks. It's riveted where most reproductions have nuts and bolts. Chrome was probably refinished at some point as it's very clean with no pitting or rust. All in all, a really nice clean example. |
