This is one of my favorite Greist lamps, and one of our best sellers. She is in beautiful condition! The metal
on both the nude and the base is in excellent condition, showing no dents, cracks or damage. The nude has a lovely
silver tone finish, while the base is a satiny black. Mercury shade is in very good condition, with
just a few extremely minor blemishes. This is one of the nicest I've seen lately. Has a wonderful mirrored finish
when unlit, and a soft orange glow when lit, which is just stunning at night. This lamp retains the original felt
bottom complete with the original gold Greist foil type label, which is pretty rare to find still intact.
It has been rewired, but retains it's original bakelite switch. As with any vintage lamp, the wiring should be
checked for safety. This is a classic semi-nude mercury lamp, very elegant and beautiful. A must have for any Deco
lamp collection, and really an outstanding mood lamp! |
