| This stunning semi nude lamp features one of my favorite Greist figures.
The metal on both the nude and the base is in good condition, showing no dents, cracks,
or damage. The nude has a beautiful face, which is somewhat unusual for these figural
lamps, and her figure is very shapely and detailed. The Mercury shade is in good
condition, with just a few minor rim fitter chips and a little roughness on rim edge, but
they're totally invisible when assembled. Has a medium to dark grey reflective surface when
unlit, and a wonderful soft orange glow when lit, which is stunning at night. Doesn't
show any black spots or loss of paint on the interior. This lamp has a new felt bottom,
and has been rewired, but retains it's original bakelite switch and plug. As with any
vintage lamp, the wiring should be checked for safety. This beauty will never go out of
style! |
