| I've wanted one of these for a very long time! These lamps have been reproduced, but only the originals have the patent number embossed in the glass on the bottom of the plane body. Impossible to fake, the numbers are actually imprinted into the glass. Glass body is in very good condition. Silver trim paint shows a little wear, but no more than you would expect of a piece this old and maybe even less. glass has no chips, cracks, or breaks. Chrome base shows some wear, but no dents or breaks. Plane sits evenly and retains original propellers, which are usually missing. All in all, a really clean example, and one of my favorite lamp pieces! |
